Mot’s
We carry out MOTs on all class 4 vehicles, and have been doing so for almost 40 years. We are now one of East Kilbride’s longest established MOT test centres. We have recently invested in an up to the minute automated test lane, which now enables us to offer a more efficient service to our customers.
Servicing
Dealer level servicing is tailored to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty, following manufacturers’ specifications, with a choice of service for those vehicles without manufacturer’s warranty. Almost all manufacturers are catered for, with few exceptions.
Engine Management/Diagnostics
Over the past few years, as vehicle systems have become more complex, we have found our greatest challenge as a trade. Kingsway MOT Centre stands out from the crowd, as with the software, tooling, and above all the knowledge to carry out complex programming procedures, we endeavour to cover all customers’ vehicle requirements, keeping them on the road and not in the workshop.
Tyres and Exhausts
We are able to supply and fit new top quality and budget tyres and exhausts (dependent on our customers’ wishes) that complete and often beat fast fit centres. Full warranty applies.
Welding
We are able to carry out professional structural repairs to a high standard, with the ability to complete to a cosmetic standard if required.
Steering and Suspension
We are equipped with all of the dedicated tools to replace most steering and suspension components on most makes of car. We can also supply top quality parts with a warranty.
On work that requires a longer time in the workshop (perhaps awaiting parts) we can usually arrange for a courtesy vehicle for our customers. Around 20 – 30 vehicles a day pass through our doors and we make it our mission to have 20 – 30 satisfied customers leave.
Timing Belts
We keep special tools and data that enable us to change most vehicle timing belts, preventing costly repairs should one break. We are also equipped and experienced in doing various wet belts.
Brakes and Other Repairs
We cover all aspects of brake overhauls, from pads to ABS repairs, only using quality parts.
